In a tech-driven world, a recent study by Humanify, a research platform, has reinforced the lasting credibility of traditional newspapers among both younger and older readers. Despite 84.1% of the readership showing a strong preference for digital formats, newspapers remain a trusted news source, noted Geetika Kambli, Humanify's Founder.

The study highlighted that older respondents gave higher credibility scores to newspapers, citing fake news and conspiracy theories prevalent online. Surprisingly, half of the younger audience, under 30, also favored newspapers over TV and social media for news.

The inclination towards digital formats was driven by their convenience, especially for news on the go. Sustainability also emerged as a crucial factor, with readers acknowledging digital mediums as eco-friendlier options. Localized news and customization were other key takeaways, pointing to evolving news consumption trends.
