New Delhi [India], August 20: iFestival 2024 concluded spectacularly on August 10, with a remarkable showcase of student talent at Delhi's JLN Indoor Stadium. The theme 'Civilization Type 1' challenged participants to imagine a future where sustainability and innovation intersect, and fashion design students responded with breathtaking creations.

In an unprecedented collaboration, renowned brands including Meena Bazar, MADAME, Kazo, Rina Dhaka, Sonia Jetleey, and others provided waste fabrics for the students. This initiative not only promoted sustainability but also expanded the boundaries of creative redesign. The students studied these brands and created mood boards, demonstrating their ability to repurpose discarded materials into haute couture.

The runway dazzled with diverse designs, each telling a unique story of sustainability and innovation. Featured works included Smriti Singh's 'The Midnight Bride,' Shaurya Verma's 'Tempest Tapestry,' and Rohini Prasad's 'Rags to Riches,' among others. By transforming waste materials into high-fashion pieces, students showcased their technical skills and critical thinking around sustainability in fashion.
