Katherine Renee Kane is set to depart from the cast of 'FBI' after appearing in at least one episode in the upcoming seventh season, Variety reports.

'FBI', created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, premiered on CBS on September 25, 2018, featuring a star-studded cast including Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, and Jeremy Sisto.

Kane, who plays special agent Tiffany Wallace, joined the show during its third season in 2020. Her departure comes after Lisette Olivera was cast as a new behavioural analysis unit agent for Season 7.

The series focuses on the investigations of a group of special agents in New York City's FBI office and includes spinoffs 'FBI: Most Wanted' and 'FBI: International'. CBS renewed all three series earlier this year, with new seasons set to begin on October 15.

Dick Wolf serves as executive producer, alongside Mike Weiss, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, Rick Eid, and Peter Jankowski. Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television produce the show in association with CBS Studios.
