Rian Johnson Wraps Filming of New ‘Knives Out’ Sequel
Rian Johnson has completed filming the third installment of his 'Knives Out' franchise, titled 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.' The movie will see Daniel Craig return as Benoit Blanc, alongside a star-studded cast. Slated for a 2025 release, the film promises a thrilling new mystery.

Rian Johnson, the acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker, has concluded the filming of 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,' the third installment in his popular murder-mystery franchise.
Johnson revealed the update on his official X page, sharing a poster depicting a graveyard and expressing his excitement over the film's completion. 'Aaaand that's a wrap on Wake Up Dead Man. Went so fast! Best crew, incredible cast, this was a really special shoot and I cannot wait to put it together,' he stated.
The film, featuring Daniel Craig as the famous detective Benoit Blanc, is expected to be released in 2025 and includes an ensemble cast featuring Josh Brolin, Cailee Spaeny, and others. Following the success of previous installments, Netflix now holds the franchise's rights.
