Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray declared that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will terminate the Dharavi redevelopment project if residents are not allocated 500 square feet homes.
Thackeray made this announcement during the 'Dharavi Bachao' rally, where he accused the state government of prioritizing the Adani group's development interests over the welfare of Dharavi's residents. He pledged that the MVA would ensure all Dharavi residents are rehabilitated locally.
Thackeray also lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party for not fulfilling their financial promises and for social divisiveness, while criticizing the delay in Maharashtra assembly polls due to the government's fears.
