Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar revealed his innovative approach to tennis-ball cricket by introducing reverse swing, a technique he mastered in international cricket. The announcement was made during the unveiling of the second season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), set to take place in Thane from January 26 to February 9, 2025.

The league, featuring six teams from its inaugural edition, will conduct trials across 55 cities starting in October. Tendulkar shared his vision of incorporating female cricketers into the league, emphasizing the need to balance advantages between batsmen and bowlers through specific rules like 50-50 matches and awarding nine runs for a single shot.

He elaborated on the challenges bowlers faced in adapting to the taped tennis ball. Tendulkar conducted training sessions to help them perfect their techniques, focusing on the critical release point for effective reverse swing. His initiative aims to enhance players' skills and add a new dimension to the game.
