Elizabeth Debicki, the Emmy-nominated actor known for her portrayal of Princess Diana in 'The Crown', believes the series concluded at the right time. 'I think it ended in the right place, really,' Debicki told People, highlighting the show's respect for its own narrative cycle.

Debicki emphasized that creator Peter Morgan had a clear vision for the show's conclusion. 'It always kind of knew where it was going,' she said, mentioning the 'delicate' nature of the series' final episodes. The Crown, a historical drama about Queen Elizabeth II's reign created by Morgan, successfully encapsulated Diana's last days.

Season six, she noted, featured 'magnificent' performances, adding, 'I know I'm biased because it's my show, but I think everyone did really incredible work.'

Debicki praised the show's self-awareness and dramaturgical appeal. 'There are moments where The Crown is very aware of what it is,' she said, appreciating the use of dramatic devices. She also acknowledged the series' 18 Emmy nominations and expressed her joy over the recognition. 'It's just a lovely end to a long and beautiful – but sometimes really challenging – chapter as actors,' she said.
