Madhav highlighted reports of temple destructions and persecution of Hindus, stressing the alarming nature of these incidents. He detailed the historical context, noting the harsh conditions faced by East Bengalis since Pakistan's creation in 1947 and emphasizing Bangladesh's unique identity as a nation founded on linguistic identity.
