KGF Chapter 2 Shines at 70th National Film Awards

KGF Chapter 2 garnered multiple accolades at the 70th National Film Awards, including Best Kannada Film and Best Action Direction. Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash, the film achieved significant success and acclaim across India.

The 70th annual National Film Awards, celebrating films released in 2022, were announced on Friday. 'KGF Chapter 2,' featuring star Yash, emerged as a standout, securing awards for Best Kannada Film and Best Action Direction (Stunt Choreography) within the Feature Films category.

The Best Kannada Film honor went to director Prashanth Neel and production company Hombale Films LLP. Anbariv was recognized with the Best Action Direction award for his outstanding stunt choreography in the film.

Announced in the national capital, the awards saw participation from a respected jury, including Rahul Rawail, Nila Madhab Panda, and Gangadhar Mudalair. 'KGF Chapter 2,' a sequel to the 2018 film 'K.G.F: Chapter 1,' captivated audiences nationwide with its gripping narrative and dramatic flair. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film was praised for its cinematography, background music, and the iconic 'Violence! Violence! Violence!' dialogue, which resonated widely.

Becoming the highest-grossing film of the year, it followed an underdog's rise to a formidable gangster. The sequel also starred Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken, and Saran.
