Left Leaders Commemorate Sacrifices on 78th Independence Day

Left leaders on Thursday celebrated the 78th Independence Day by honoring the sacrifices made by freedom fighters for India's liberty.
Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, in a post on X, emphasized recalling the courage of freedom fighters and the need to live by their values.
Yechury urged the nation to remember the vision of a modern, inclusive India and to pledge allegiance to principles of equality and justice.
In his message, Communist Party of India's General Secretary D Raja extended greetings and highlighted the legacy of justice, equality, and fraternity brought by the freedom movement, encouraging the nation to protect these ideals.
The national flag was hoisted at the CPI(M) office to mark the occasion.
