Mumbai, August 14, 2024: The India-Singapore relationship has developed into one of the most crucial partnerships within the 'Asian Century'. Rooted in rich cultural and commercial ties, the India-Singapore corridor has been growing in prominence over the years. To reinforce these bonds, DBS Bank India is launching an initiative to unite stakeholders from diverse sectors in both nations to identify synergies and create opportunities for mutual growth.
Since its establishment in Mumbai in 1994, DBS Bank has been keen on fostering India-Singapore relations. Marking its 30th anniversary, the bank has partnered with CNBC-TV18 to launch the 'India-Singapore Connect', celebrating this milestone and furthering dialogue on trade, investment, technology, and cultural exchange. This year-long project will include perspectives from government leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and economists.
Surojit Shome, Managing Director and CEO of DBS Bank India, expressed the bank's commitment to India. The initiative will kickstart with an interview featuring Piyush Gupta, CEO of DBS Group, led by Shereen Bhan of CNBC-TV18.
