Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked the 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day' with a silent march from the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to Lok Bhavan. Reflecting on the historical tragedy, he emphasized the profound human suffering caused by the partition. Numerous dignitaries joined in honoring the memory of the innocent lives lost.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday stated that India's partition was driven by vested political interests.

Speaking at the 'Partition Horrors Memorial Silent Padyatra,' which started from the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to Lok Bhavan, Adityanath highlighted the tragedy's pain and suffering. He walked holding a placard to honor those affected.

In a post on X, Adityanath mentioned that the partition was not just a country's division but also of humanity, causing immense suffering. The march saw participation from various political figures and public representatives, paying tribute to the innocent lives lost due to the partition.
