Meth-Laced Candies Unknowingly Distributed by Auckland Charity

In a shocking turn of events, a charity working with homeless individuals in Auckland, New Zealand, unknowingly distributed candies filled with methamphetamine in its food parcels. The Auckland City Mission revealed that the candies were donated by a member of the public and are now being tracked down.
This revelation has prompted a criminal investigation by New Zealand's police. The New Zealand Drug Foundation confirmed that each candy contained a potentially lethal dose of methamphetamine, up to 300 times the usual amount a person might take.
Helen Robinson, City Missioner, said that eight families, including children, had reported consuming the contaminated candies, though no one has been hospitalized. The charity is working urgently to rectify the situation and ensure the safety of its clients.
