Amitabh Bachchan Remembers Mother on Her 110th Birth Anniversary

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan paid a heartfelt tribute to his mother, Teji Bachchan, on her 110th birth anniversary. He shared a touching note on his blog, recalling her strength, warmth, and love. The legendary actor also spoke about his recent film, 'Kalki 2898 AD', and ongoing projects.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned emotional as he reminisced about his mother, Teji Bachchan, on her 110th birth anniversary. On Sunday night, Big B shared a heartfelt note on his blog, celebrating her life and legacy.

'A day tomorrow of remembrance to the most beautiful Mother of all time .. Aug 12 .. her strength, her warmth, her sense of etiquette and aesthetics .. but most importantly her faith and love of all things bright and beautiful for us all .. There is no need to say anymore,' penned Bachchan. Teji Bachchan, a social activist, played Lady Macbeth in her husband's Hindi adaptation of Shakespeare's work. She was born on August 12, 1914, and passed away on December 21, 2007. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, her husband, was a legendary poet.

Simultaneously, Amitabh Bachchan's futuristic film 'Kalki 2898 AD' has garnered immense praise since its release. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the post-apocalyptic movie features an ensemble cast, including Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani. Set in 2898 AD and inspired by Hindu scriptures, the film is a mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle. The film also includes cameos by Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, and Mrunal Thakur.

Besides this, Bachchan is currently busy with the shooting of 'Vettaiyan,' where he stars alongside Rajinikanth.
