Swedish prosecutors announced on Monday the closure of an investigation into Dutch artist Joost Klein, who was evicted in May from this year's Eurovision Song Contest on allegations of threatening a female production crew member.
Klein, 26, performed the quirky song "Europapa" and was initially among the favorites to win the contest held in Malmo, Sweden.
The investigation found that Klein made a movement which hit the woman's film camera, but there was insufficient evidence to establish intent to cause harm, according to a statement from the Prosecution Authority.
