Shah Rukh Khan Credits Yash Chopra for Prestigious Locarno Film Festival Honour
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. During a Q&A session, Khan reminisced about his early experiences with cinema and credited late filmmaker Yash Chopra for his success, highlighting the deep connections within his film journey.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was honoured this Sunday with the coveted Pardo alla Carriera award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.
During a Q&A session with Giona A Nazzaro, the artistic director of the festival, Khan attributed his success to his frequent collaborator, the late filmmaker Yash Chopra. The 58-year-old actor reflected on his first cinematic experience, recalling how his mother took him to see Chopra's 1973 thriller 'Joshila.'
Khan further detailed how his career took off after moving to Mumbai. He initially planned to stay for just a year but ended up becoming one of Bollywood's biggest stars, with numerous collaborations with Chopra.
