Zakir Hussain to Star in Cybercrime Thriller 'Cyberman'

Actor Zakir Hussain stars in the upcoming film 'Cyberman,' based on a true incident of cyber fraud. The movie aims to highlight the growing threat of cybercrime. Actor Zakir Hussain, renowned for his compelling roles, is preparing for his latest project, 'Cyberman.' Inspired by a true incident of cyber fraud, the film aims to highlight the escalating threat of cybercrime in the digital era.

In a conversation with ANI, Hussain shared his own close encounter with cyber scammers, which happened just last month. He described how he usually avoids spam calls, but this time, the scammer recognized who he was and abruptly ended the call.

'Cyberman,' based on a real-life incident, tells the story inspired by Manish Goyal's fight against cybercriminals. Years ago, Goyal's bank account was hacked, but he fought back, earning the nickname 'Cyberman.' Filming starts February 2025 in locations including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Bengaluru.

Produced by Wellgrade Studios Private Limited, the movie features Miss Global 2023 winner Ashley Melendez in a leading role alongside Zakir Hussain. Directed and written by Rakesh Srivastava, with Khalid Kidwai and Manish Goel as producers, additional cast members will be announced later. (ANI)
