Rapper Travis Scott was released from French police custody without charges after his arrest at a Paris hotel, French prosecutors announced Saturday.
The Paris prosecutor's office stated that the police custody order for Scott, involved in a minor altercation with a security guard, has been lifted. Scott was arrested early Friday after police responded to an incident at the Georges V hotel. The security guard had intervened in an argument between the rapper and his bodyguard.
Scott, in Paris for the Olympics, attended the USA-Serbia men's basketball semifinal on Thursday night. Known for hits like "Sicko Mode" and "Highest in the Room," Scott was also arrested in Miami Beach in June for misdemeanor charges related to trespassing and public intoxication.
