Prominent Hindu seer Avdheshanand Giri on Saturday condemned the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and called for intervention from international bodies.
'Hindus are being identified and attacked in Bangladesh, with their temples and homes vandalized and set on fire. Hindu girls are facing inhuman treatment, sparking global outrage among Hindus,' said Joona Akhada's Acharya Mahanandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri.
Giri highlighted the Hindu community's commitment to welfare and development and stated that targeted attacks are unjust. He urged the United Nations, human rights organizations, and Bangladesh's interim government to take strict measures to ensure their security.
'India stands ready to protect the honor of Bangladeshi Hindu refugees, and the Indian government's strategy in this matter is commendable,' he added.
