Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagade on Saturday conducted a visit to remote villages in Barmer, situated along the far western border. During his tour, he reviewed the execution of development and welfare schemes initiated by both central and state governments.

Bagade interacted with villagers, discussing work under various schemes such as PM Awas Yojna and MNREGA. He instructed local officials to address issues immediately and emphasized prioritizing the interests of the poor.

The governor engaged with school children in Tamlor village, expressing concern over the future of seven failed students and instructed the headmaster to re-enroll them. He also visited Guddi Kanwar's house, a PM Awas Yojana beneficiary, and appreciated the ongoing work by BSF soldiers at the Munabao border, stressing the importance of sensitive border security measures.
