Extensive discussions with President Jose Ramos-Horta focused on bolstering bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including IT, digital technology, health, and agriculture.
President Murmu, who arrived on the first-ever presidential visit from India to Timor-Leste, was awarded the Grand Collar of the Order of Timor-Leste. She also announced the opening of a Resident Mission in Dili, strengthening diplomatic ties further.
Three significant agreements covering cultural exchanges, radio broadcasting, and visa exemptions for diplomatic passport holders were signed. President Murmu also engaged with Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao, discussing further collaboration. The visit concluded with a warm community reception with local and Indian citizens in Timor-Leste.
