Prajeesh, a local hero from Chooralmala, heroically drove his jeep up through treacherous hill paths to rescue people stranded during last week's deadly landslides in Wayanad's high-range Mundakkai.
After he successfully completed two missions, known for his ever-ready-to-help attitude, he attempted a third rescue. Unfortunately, his damaged jeep was later found at Chooralmala, and he has been missing since.
The village mourns the loss of their beloved 'super hero,' as Prajeesh put his life in danger to save others. Despite warnings from friends, he took on the perilous task to rescue more people but succumbed to the harsh conditions on his final mission.
