During a recent pilgrimage, a 'kawnariya' grabbed attention by carrying a statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his shoulders. The man, identified as pathologist Rupendra Tomar, journeyed on foot from Baghpat in western Uttar Pradesh to Haridwar.

As a devout follower of Lord Shiva and an ardent admirer of Modi, Tomar ceremonially bathed the statue in the Ganga at Har ki Pauri. He emphasized his devotion, stating his wish to meet the Prime Minister to gift him the statue and Ganga water.

Tomar remarked on Modi's national achievements, including the dedication of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Having spent Rs 70 to 80 thousand on this venture, Tomar began his return to Baghpat after the holy ritual.
