Renowned designer Siddartha Tytler presented his regal collection "Caligula's Feast" at India Couture Week (ICW), captivating the audience with showstoppers Malaika Arora and Rahul Khanna.

The collection, revealed on the third day of ICW at Taj Palace, drew inspiration from Roman Emperor Caligula. It showcased stunning opulent designs on a variety of traditional and modern dresses, including gowns and formals. The visually rich runway was decorated with flowers and tables laden with fruits and delicacies, creating a grand ambiance under the spotlight as models graced the stage.

The colour palette started with black and transitioned through shades of beige, green, maroon, orange, and blue. Featuring geometric patterns, floral motifs, rhinestone embellishments, and crystal encrustations, the collection exuded elegance and grandeur. Tytler merged Roman elements with Indian attire by pairing floral blouses with triangular maxi skirts and crafting formal coats with silver armour-like sides, perfectly blending traditional wear with Roman splendour.

Showstoppers Arora and Khanna closed the event in Tytler's finest creations. Arora wore an armour-like blouse with a flared lehenga skirt, while Khanna donned a minimalistic sherwani with floral work. ''I felt like a goddess; it was stunning,'' Arora commented post-show. Tytler praised velvet, highlighting it as a luxurious fabric, and mentioned his preference for a darker colour palette in his designs.

The India Couture Week 2024 will conclude on July 31.
