Cultural Exchange Blossoms at 2024 Shanghai International Sister Cities Youth Camp

The 2024 Shanghai International Sister Cities Youth Camp, organized by the Putuo District Education Bureau, took place from July 3 to 16. Themed 'Communication, Cooperation, Friendship and Understanding,' it hosted 89 foreign youths who participated in various cultural activities, urban tours, and educational experiences.

The 2024 Shanghai International Sister Cities Youth Camp, organized by the Putuo District Education Bureau, welcomed 89 foreign youths from 16 countries from July 3 to 16. Under the theme of 'Communication, Cooperation, Friendship and Understanding,' the event aimed at fostering cultural exchange.

Participants engaged in various traditional Chinese culture courses, visited iconic Shanghai landmarks, and undertook city design projects. Highlights included mastering martial arts, porcelain carving, tie-dyeing, and exploring landmarks like the Oriental Pearl Tower and Yu Garden.

The youth also visited prestigious universities and museums, participated in forums, and enjoyed hands-on activities at Oriental Land. Attendees like Brian O'Carroll from Ireland and Sarah from Marseille lauded the enriching experience, emphasizing the deep cultural impact and warmth of the local people.
