Hollywood star Sharon Stone will join Bob Odenkirk in 'Nobody 2,' the sequel to Universal's 2021 action thriller. Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto, known for 'May the Devil Take You,' will direct the film from a screenplay by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem. Odenkirk, 61, will reprise his role as a mild-mannered family man who is a secret former government assassin.

While details about the plot remain under wraps, Stone is set to play the main villain, adding excitement to the action drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Stone, 66, dominated the 90s Hollywood scene with erotic roles in movies such as 'Basic Instinct,' 'Casino,' 'Total Recall,' and 'Sliver.' Over the years, she has diversified her portfolio with films and shows like 'Broken Flowers,' 'Alpha Dog,' 'Lovelace,' 'Fading Gigolo,' 'Mosaic,' 'Ratched,' and 'New Pope.' The actor is also known for her humanitarian work, raising funds to fight AIDS since the 80s.

Odenkirk, who gained international acclaim for his role as lawyer Saul Goodman in 'Breaking Bad,' has built an impressive body of work, including 'Better Call Saul,' 'Nebraska,' 'Fargo,' and 'Little Women.' The previous installment of 'Nobody' was directed by Ilya Naishuller and featured Odenkirk alongside Connie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, RZA, Michael Ironside, and Aleksey Serebryakov. Produced by David Leitch, Kelly McCormick, Braden Aftergood, Odenkirk, and Marc Provissiero, 'Nobody' was made on a budget of USD 16 million and grossed over USD 57.5 million worldwide. The sequel is slated for release on August 15, 2025.
