Inauguration of 46th World Heritage Committee Session in India

The 46th session of the World Heritage Committee began at the Bharat Mandapam on Sunday evening, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay present.
India is hosting this significant UNESCO event from July 21 to July 31 for the first time. Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate the session shortly.
Before the inauguration, the Prime Minister viewed an exhibition at the Bharat Mandapam that highlights more than 350 artefacts repatriated to India. Audrey Azoulay, dressed in a saree, accompanied Modi during the exhibition tour.
