Aerial Dazzle Marks 25 Years of Kargil Victory

An aerial display was conducted at Air Force Station Bhisiana to celebrate the 25th anniversary of India's victory in the Kargil conflict of 1999. The Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay Diwas was observed with great enthusiasm, paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces.
The event featured a wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial, attended by Air Marshal PK Vohra, senior Air Staff Officer, Western Air Command, and other dignitaries including former Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa (Retd), and Alka Ahuja, spouse of late Sqn Ldr Ajay Ahuja.
The aerial display included awe-inspiring performances: a para-drop by the Akash Ganga Skydiving team, flypasts by Rafale, Jaguar, and MiG-29 aircrafts in various formations, and aerobatics by Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft. Over 5,000 spectators, including school children, were captivated by the spectacular show, which also featured the Air Force Band and Air Warrior Drill Team.
