In a recent chat show appearance, actor Kate Hudson disclosed that she and former co-star Matthew McConaughey are open to the idea of a sequel to their 2003 romantic comedy 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.'

Hudson shared this sentiment on 'Watch What Happens Live' with host Andy Cohen. She emphasized the importance of a strong script, noting, 'All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I were into the script.' The hit film, based on a novel by Michele Alexander and Jeannie Long, starred Hudson as Andie Anderson and McConaughey as Benjamin Barry, crossing paths for a unique romantic adventure.

The 2003 film revolved around Andie writing an article on making a man leave in 10 days while Benjamin bet he could make a woman fall in love with him in the same period. McConaughey, in a 2020 interview, expressed his potential interest in a sequel, saying, 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is teed up... you could easily do a sequel.'

He added, 'People still love that one. I enjoyed that one quite a bit.' The actors' latest comments have reignited fans' hopes for a follow-up to the beloved romantic comedy classic.
