Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday unveiled a collection of books that capture the speeches of President Droupadi Murmu and delve into the heritage of the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The four books—'Wings to Our Hopes-Volume 1', 'Aashaon Ki Udaan'; 'Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present'; and 'Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki'—were launched in the presence of Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan. Published by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's Publications Division, these works encapsulate President Murmu's leadership and the Rashtrapati Bhavan's architectural and historical richness.

Minister Chouhan highlighted the importance of the President's speeches, viewing them as a significant resource for understanding democracy and societal progress. These compilations capture President Murmu's empathy towards diverse demographics including women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, farmers, armed forces, and the youth. Chouhan emphasized that these speeches help readers gain a deep perspective on India's socio-economic challenges and initiatives for self-reliance.

The ministers, along with I&B Secretary Sanjay Jaju, later met with President Murmu to present her with copies of the books. One notable book, 'Wings to Our Hopes', features 75 of the President's speeches from her first year in office. 'Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present' offers an extensive exploration of the President's residence, complete with vivid descriptions and photographs. Meanwhile, the children's book 'Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki' narrates almost a century's worth of Rashtrapati Bhavan's history in simple terms.
