Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman has fondly recalled her appearance on the animated series 'Bluey,' highlighting her role in the season 3 episode titled 'Whale Watching' as one of her most significant. Portman spoke to People about her involvement, expressing immense pride and joy in her contribution to the hit children's show.

'I was a narrator of a nature documentary that they were watching,' Portman described. 'It's a very important show for my family and I was really, really honoured to get to be part of it,' she added. The actress shares two children, son Aleph, 13, and daughter Amalia, 7, with her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied.

In her guest role, Portman lent her voice to the character known as the 'Whale Doco Narrator.' The episode features Bluey and Bingo playing 'whale' with their tired father while a whale documentary, narrated by Portman, plays on the television. The narrative she provides, emphasizing the lengths a whale mom will go for her children, inspires their mother to join in the fun. Other stars who have appeared on 'Bluey' include Eva Mendes, Rose Byrne, and Robert Irwin.

In addition to her 'Bluey' appearance, Portman announced that the first two episodes of her upcoming series 'Lady in the Lake' will premiere on Apple TV+ on July 19, with new episodes releasing every Friday until August 12, according to People.
