Doherty, who openly discussed her breast cancer treatment, passed away on Saturday. Her publicist, Leslie Sloane, confirmed the sad news on Sunday.

"The devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie," Sloane stated. The family has requested privacy to mourn their loss. Doherty first disclosed her cancer diagnosis in 2015 and had a brain tumor removed in 2023, with the cancer later spreading to her bones.

Doherty found fame in "90210" as Brenda, an honor roll student trying to fit into a high-society environment.
