Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya made a stylish appearance at the lavish wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, highlighting the grandeur of the event that celebrates Indian culture and traditions with opulent decorations and an ode to Varanasi's culinary delights.
Aishwarya Rai made a stylish entry with her daughter Aaradhya at the star-studded wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Rai captivated attention not only with her presence but also with her outfit.
Rai donned a red Anarkali suit paired with a matching embroidered shrug. She accessorized with a choker set and maang tikka, perfectly complementing her look. Aaradhya, like her mother, was elegantly dressed in a blue-green printed Anarkali. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan was also spotted with his wife, actor-turned-politician Jaya Bachchan.
The Bachchan duo posed for cameras along with their family, including son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda, son-in-law Nikhil Nanda, and their children Navya and Agastya. The opulent wedding of Anant Ambani, youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, with Radhika Merchant promises a grand celebration of Indian culture, civilization, spirituality, folk art, music, and cuisine.
The wedding's theme, 'An Ode to Varanasi,' pays tribute to the eternal city's traditions, arts, and Banarasi cuisine. Banarasi street food like chaat, mithai, lassi, chai, khari, paan, and mukhwas are featured. Curated stalls ensure attendees enjoy not just the event but leave with lasting memories of Banaras. The banquet promises to bring Banaras' rich culinary heritage to Mumbai.
The wedding will be followed by 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, culminating with the Mangal Utsav or wedding reception on July 14, promising three days of celebration for the Ambani and Merchant families.
