Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant met with the Archbishop of Goa and Daman, Rev Fr Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao, on Thursday to discuss the preparations for the upcoming exposition of St Francis Xavier's relics. The event, held every ten years, will commence on November 21 and continue for 45 days.

Sawant revealed to reporters that a state committee has been formed to manage the preparations for what is considered one of the biggest events in the country, attracting both national and international guests. The committee will reconvene after the monsoon session of the assembly, which ends mid-August.
