Mob Psycho 100 Season 2: Mob Choir’s 99.9 to be opening theme, New cast announced

The renowned Japanese webmanga ‘Mob Psycho 100’ Season 2 finally received a teaser trailer lasting for almost two minutes. The trailer for the popular series from the creator of ‘One Punch Man’ hints an apocalypse in the upcoming season.

‘Mob Psycho 100’ Season 2’s new teaser shows the ‘99.9’ by Mob Choir featuring Sajou no Hana, which is going to be the series’ new introductory theme song. It is also revealed that Sajou no Hana will perform the ending theme ‘Memosepia’.

On the other hand, new cast members for ‘Mob Psycho 100’ Season 2 were also announced. The characters like Keiji Mogami, Banshomaru Shinra, Emi, Kirin Jodo and Minori Asagiri will be voiced by Akira Ishida, Taiten Kusunoki, Eriko Matsui, Teruyuki Tanzawa and Mao.

The anime series will commence with Mob’s girlfriend Mini Arc where Mezato gives the effort to convince Mob to become the leader of Psycho Helmet Cult for a day. Majority of the staff from the previous season will be returning to work in the second. Yuzuru Tachikawa is working as the director and Yoshimichi Kameda again as the character designer.

‘Mob Psycho 100’ Season 2 will have its premiere on January 7, 2019.
