The 8 Show, set to premiere on Netflix, is inspired by popular Naver webtoons, Money Game and Pie Game. The series captivates with a gripping narrative about eight individuals confined in a mysterious eight-story building, engaging in a high-stakes game show. As time ticks, participants earn money, navigating through tempting yet perilous challenges. Directed by Han Jae Rim, the series features a stellar ensemble including Ryu Jun Yeol, Chun Woo Hee, Park Jung Min, Lee Yul Em, Park Hae Joon, Lee Joo Young, Moon Jeong Hee, and Bae Seong Woo. Ryu Jun Yeol portrays a character from the '3rd floor,' drawn into the game to escape his financial woes.

The personal life of Ryu Jun Yeol became a focal point of media attention following the emergence of photographs with actress Han So Hee during a trip to Hawaii, igniting dating speculations. The situation escalated with rumors of a rebound relationship post-breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Hyeri, and soon after, news of his breakup with Han So Hee surfaced.
