Yujeong Exits BB Girls Trio to Begin Fresh at Vuv Girl Company

Warner Music Korea announced on April 22nd that Yujeong, a long-standing member of the girl group VV Girls, previously known as BB Girls, has decided to leave the group. This development comes as the group's contract with Warner Music Korea reached its end, leading to a mutual decision not to renew.

"After a lengthy discussion about the future activities of our company and V'V Girls, we have agreed to terminate our exclusive contract today, when the contract period expires," stated Warner Music Korea. The company expressed gratitude towards the group for their contributions and activities under their management.

Concurrently, the V'V Girls shared an official statement detailing their future plans. "As our contract with Warner Music Korea concludes, we mutually agreed to terminate our exclusive arrangement. We appreciate the support provided by Warner Music Korea in our past endeavors," the statement read. The group announced they would embark on new activities under 'Vuv Girl Company,' managed by their partner company GLG. This new arrangement aims to allow the members to focus solely on their music careers and related activities.

However, the announcement also highlighted that Yujeong would not be part of this new chapter. "After in-depth discussions, Yujeong has decided to conclude her activities with VV Girls. The remaining members respect Yujeong's decision and sincerely thank her for her dedicated efforts over the years," mentioned the V'V Girls' statement. They also assured continued support for Yujeong in her future endeavors.

Moving forward, VV Girls will operate with a three-member system comprising Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna. The group reassured their fans, known as BBee, that they will receive robust support to ensure the trio can thrive in various fields. "We are grateful for the love BBee has always shown us, and we are excited to start anew with VV Girls. Please continue to offer your warm support and interest," added the group's spokesperson.
