‘Fifty Shades’ actor Jamie Dornan and ‘Captain America: Civil War’s’ Anthony Mackie will be shooting in Algiers Point for ‘Synchronic’ starting from December 16. They will continue shooting for four to five days and use the special effects explosions.
‘Anthropoid’s protagonist Jamie Dornan and 40-year old Anthony Mackie along with the production will be filming the upcoming ‘Synchronic’ movie along the Mississippi River battue from evening 6 to morning 7. ‘’Small charges’ will be set off Tuesday evening (December 18) between 6 pm and midnight, followed by cannon fire Wednesday (December 19), also between 6 pm and midnight,” Nola.com reported.
Based on the news advisory issued on Friday, December 14, no disruption in traffic is expected. In the movie ‘Synchronic,’ Jamie Dornan and Anthony Mackie are playing the roles of two paramedics in New Orleans, and their presence makes the movie one of Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson’s biggest projects till date. The lives of those two paramedics are ripped apart followed by a series of horrific deaths connected to a designer drug with bizarre, (undefined) otherworldly effects. Benson is also responsible for scripting the movie, while he is also producing the movie together with David Lawson Jr, who is known for producing 2017’s superhit movie ‘The Endless.’
The highly-acclaimed movie ‘Synchronic’ is currently in production in New Orleans. The principal photography is likely to last through the first week of January. More details on the progress yet to be received.
