This initiative has quickly gained attention, with fans noting that one of the videos posted appears to include Jungkook's voice, sparking enthusiastic reactions. Comments on the account include fan observations such as, "The voice in the video sounds exactly like Jungkook," and expressions of gratitude like, "Thank you for sharing Bam’s news." Others celebrated the opening of the account with remarks like, "Dad of Bam finally opened Bam’s account!"

Jungkook, who is well-known for his affection towards his dog, was dubbed the "Best Dog Dad" by international media in 2021 after he was seen serenading Bam on a reality show. His approach to pet care, which avoids cosmetic surgeries like ear cropping and tail docking, has also been praised by his fans.
The surprise decision in February last year by Jungkook to delete his personal Instagram account, which boasted over 52.4 million followers, had made headlines. Although there was initial speculation about hacking, Jungkook clarified on Weverse that the deletion was his choice, citing infrequent use as the reason.
While Jungkook’s personal updates are paused during his military tenure, his pet dog Bam appears to be taking a front seat in keeping the fans, collectively known as ARMY, engaged. Jungkook enlisted for military service in December 2023 and is slated for discharge in June 2025.
