In a major announcement, Netflix has officially greenlit the production of "Karma," a highly anticipated Korean crime series that boasts a star-studded cast including Park Hae Soo, Shin Mina, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon. The series, directed by Lee Il Hyung of "A Violent Prosecutor" and "Remember" fame, promises to be a gripping crime thriller that explores the complexities of fate and relationships.
"Karma" delves into the lives of characters caught in the intricate web of an ill-fated relationship, a connection that proves to be inescapable despite their desires. The narrative unfolds as Park Hae Soo's character inadvertently becomes entangled in a mysterious accident, leading him to make an irreversible deal. However, the seemingly successful deal takes an unexpected turn as conflicting desires come to the forefront, setting the stage for a suspenseful journey.
Shin Min Ah takes on the role of a traumatized doctor haunted by a childhood incident. Her character's life takes an unforeseen twist when she encounters a person she never wished to meet again, adding layers of intrigue and suspense to the storyline.
Lee Hee Joon's character explores the risky world of cryptocurrency investment, driven by the hope for a lifetime fortune. However, the gamble results in colossal debt and negative returns, highlighting the unforeseen consequences of financial decisions.
