TVING has officially introduced the entire cast of its forthcoming historical romantic drama, The Love Story of Chunhwa. The series, also known as "Chunhwa's Love Story," promises an exciting journey as it follows the bold Princess Hwa Ri, who embarks on a quest to choose her own life partner, defying the traditional norms set by her father, the king.

The announcement on June 2 confirmed that the talented Go Ah Sung and Jang Ryul will be taking on the lead roles in "The Love Story of Chunhwa." Go Ah Sung portrays the spirited Princess Hwa Ri, determined to forge her path and select her own husband. Opposite her, Jang Ryul portrays Choi Hwan, Hwa Ri's first potential husband, blessed with charm and wealth but flawed by infidelity.

And now TVING Unveils Chunhwa's Love Story Final Cast Lineup. Joining the talented duo are Chan Hee as Jang Won, a prominent figure from Sungkyunkwan, Son Woo Hyun as the crown prince and Hwa Ri's elder brother, and Han Seung Yeon as Ji Won, Jang Won's intelligent and stunning younger sister.

Lim Hwa Yeong takes on the role of Crown Princess In Jeong, who wed Hwa Ri's elder brother at a young age. Do Yeon Jin steps into the character of Princess Hwa Jin, a rival to Prince Hwa Ri, while Kim Taek portrays Prince Hwaseong, Hwa Ri's second brother, and Bae Youn Kyu portrays the genius painter Min Hong.

Adding depth to the cast are Park Won Sang and Park Sun Young, who will play Hwa Ri's parents, adding more emotional layers to the captivating narrative.

"The Love Story of Chunhwa" is the brainchild of Lee Kwang Young, acclaimed for directing hits like "Call It Love" and "No, Thank You," while the screenplay comes from the talented Seo Eun Jung, known for her work in the sitcom series "So Not Worth It."

Produced by Beyond J, the reputable production company behind successful dramas such as "Nevertheless," "The Killer's Shopping List," "Recipe for Farewell," and "Somebody," "The Love Story of Chunhwa" is scheduled for release in 2024, making it one of the most awaited period romance series of the year.

Fans can look forward to a visually captivating and emotionally charged drama that showcases the strength and determination of a princess seeking her own path, all set against the backdrop of stunning historical aesthetics.
