Goblin Slayer II unveils stunning character visuals for Priestess

The highly anticipated second season of the hit anime series Goblin Slayer is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite characters. Excitement reached new heights as the production team for Goblin Slayer II recently unveiled a project to release character visuals over six consecutive weeks.

The latest visual to be unveiled showcases the beloved character Priestess, captivating viewers with her flowing hair and radiant smile. The character visual ban videos have been making waves on popular platforms like YouTube and TikTok.

Goblin Slayer is an anime adaptation based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. The announcement of Goblin Slayer Season 2 took place on January 31, 2021, during GA FES 2021. It was later confirmed on January 5, 2023, through the official Twitter account that LIDENFILMS would be taking over from White Fox as the studio for the second season. Furthermore, it was revealed that "Goblin Slayer II" would premiere in 2023.

The upcoming Goblin Slayer II will continue the dark fantasy narrative that follows the adventures of characters like Goblin Slayer and Priestess. Yuichiro Umehara and Yui Ogura will reprise their roles as Goblin Slayer and Priestess, respectively. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the second season, hoping for new developments and thrilling adventures.

While the exact release date for Goblin Slayer II has yet to be announced, it is expected to debut later this year. Speculation suggests a fall release, considering it is not among the new anime for the summer of 2023. As the premiere approaches, the promotional campaign for the second season has kicked into high gear, with a newly released teaser trailer highlighting the updated design of the protagonist, Goblin Slayer.

Although the returning cast and staff from the first season will be part of Goblin Slayer Season 2 there have been a few changes behind the scenes. Misato Takada will take over as the director at Liden Films, the new production studio, while Takaharu Ozaki, the previous director, assumes the role of chief director. Hideyuki Kurata will handle the series composition, Hiromi Kato will design the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro will compose the music, ensuring a seamless continuation of the series.

Goblin Slayer Season 1 is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The series centers around an extraordinary man known as Goblin Slayer, who has gained fame by eliminating goblins. When a new priestess joins his party, their adventures unfold in a world where danger lurks at every turn.
