According to a Mid-Day report, The Night Manager season 2 has already been approved and the pre-production process is underway. “The team at Banijay Asia, the production house behind the Indian adaptation, is discussing concepts at this stage. Scripting will begin in June after the second chapter of the show begins streaming. The makers are planning to take it on floors early next year.”

The Night Manager has garnered a lot of attention from viewers, especially for the performances of the lead actors. Anil Kapoor, who plays the role of an intelligence officer, has been praised for his portrayal. Aditya Roy Kapur, who plays a hotel manager caught up in a dangerous game of espionage, has also received positive feedback. Fans of the show are eagerly anticipating the release of the remaining episodes of season one and are excited to see what season two will bring.

Aditya Roy Kapur recently spoke to Pinkvilla in an exclusive chat with his Gumraah co-star Mrunal Thakur. During the interview, he shared his thoughts on what fans think about his show, The Night Manager. When asked about the decision to split the show into two parts, Aditya revealed that it was not his decision, but the platform and their department. He mentioned that many fans have expressed their dislike for the decision and said that he agrees with them. However, he is excited for fans to see the remaining episodes of season one, which will be released in June.

The actor replied, “Oh, this was not my decision. This was the platform and their department and I think they wanted to have this spread over a longer period of time. I think a lot of people have told me that they are not fans of the decision, ‘they are like, we love it but why have you done this?’ So I say that it’s not me and June is not that far, it's around the corner.” Talking about the original makers appreciating the Indian version of The Night Manager, Aditya said, “Oh! It feels lovely yaar. We are all suckers for any validation as actors so it's always nice when someone appreciates but especially when obviously the OGs think that we have honored their work and done a good job with it so it honestly feels good.”

The popular British drama series, The Night Manager, will have a second season set in the present day, with Jonathan Pine facing an even more deadly challenge. He was recruited by Angela Burr, the manager of a Foreign Office task force investigating illegal arms sales, to infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Roper.

On February 17th, 2023, the Hindi adaptation of the novel premiered on Disney+ Hotstar, featuring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee in supporting roles.
