It is also expected that Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Jonathan Groff will all be returning to voice Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff, respectively.
Frozen 3 is highly anticipated by fans who are eager to see Elsa's love interest and Anna's role as the queen of Arendelle. The previous movie, Frozen 2, focused on character development, and it is expected that Frozen 3 will continue to take the story forward. It may introduce a new world and resolve some of the cliffhangers left in the second movie.
According to Screenrant, Frozen 3 may show Elsa's mission to turn her brothers back to normal, which could result in an epic clash between the two fairytales. The development of Frozen 3 was reportedly affected by the pandemic, but the recent announcement by Kristen Bell has generated a lot of excitement among fans.
Last year, Bell appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and was asked about the possibility of Frozen 3. While she stated that she has "zero authority" to officially announce the film, she did express her excitement about reprising her role as Anna.
"Please bear in mind I did say zero authority because I can't do that. No, I'm not in charge," Bell elaborated keeping in mind that her words are not taken, official.
"I will keep it mysterious...but I know Idina (Idina Menzel who voiced for the famous character Elsa in the previous movies) recently said she would do it and I feel like if we're all in...What are we waiting for? Let's do it," she added.
