Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 3: What to expect

The second season of the anime series, Vinland Saga is on air now. The series is directed by Shūhei Yabuta, with Hiroshi Seko handling the series composition, Takahiko Abiru designing the characters, and Yutaka Yamada composing the music. Season 1 was pioneered by WIT Studio. Later the production was shifted to the Japanese animation studio, MAPPA. Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 3 is the upcoming segment of the series that will be released on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 9:30 am JST in Japan.

The translated version of the anime series will also drop at different times worldwide so that global audiences can go through it. International fans will see Vinland Saga S2 EP3 on Saturday night on the local release window. The audience can watch the series on Crunchyroll one hour after the episode airs in Japan. Funimation is also streaming the series but the timing may not match with Crunchyroll. Here’s the list of Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 3 timings in different places around the world.

Vinland Saga Season 2 begins with Einar with his mother and sister Lotta living a peaceful farming life in a village. One day Vikings attack the village. They escape into the woods, but Einar’s mother is shot and killed by an arrow. Lotta tries to strike back at a captor, but unfortunately, she is too cut down and killed. Einar is imprisoned by the Vikings. He is taken to Denmark along with other prisoners to be sold as slaves. He briefly escapes but is recaptured and brutally beaten, and eventually resigns himself to his fate. He is bought by Ketil to work on his large farm where he meets the young man, Thorfinn.

Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 2 saw Thorfinn and Einar working together on Ketil’s Farm. Ketil confirms to them that they have to work in his firm until they earn enough money to buy them for free. Einar is learning what is the meaning of slave, as he is unable to obey all the orders of Ketil. In the meantime, he meets Ketil’s son, Olmar who wants to be a warrior in the future. He refuses to help his father to cut the wheat in the field.

Later that night, Olmar flues his frustrations to one of the tenant farmer’s daughters but leaves when he realizes that she is only trying to sleep with him to become a part of his family. Olmar runs into two drunk farmhands who request his company and force him to continue hanging out with them. Einar was thinking Olmar may not know the consequences of a battle. That night he tells everything that happens to him and the other villagers. Thorfinn heard everything but didn’t respond but he is remembering his village in flames.

Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 3 is titled “Snake.” The spoilers for the new episode are yet to be out. According to Sportskeeda, Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 3 may also show Olmar reminiscing on what happened with his father’s workers the night before. Or the new episode is likely, to begin the next morning. Thorfinn and Einar are back to work. There could be a conversation between the two about Einear’s past and he may criticize soldiers and who fight in the war. Thorfinn may yell at him and unintentionally reveals his origins to Einar.
