The Boys Season 3: Katia Winter joins to play comic character Little Nina, fond of Sex toys

Eric Kripke-developed satirical superhero series, The Boys has been renewed for Season 3. A spin-off series is also under development. The developer promised to start its filming in 2021. The showrunner posted an image of the first day of filming in Toronto on February 24.

Meanwhile, Deadline has revealed that Blood & Treasure star Katia Winter has joined Amazon’s hit series The Boys Season 3 cast. She was asked to play the role of an infamous character called 'Little Nina' from the comic books. This is a recurring role. Little Nina is a Russian gang leader who is fond of sex toys. This is the first time the iconic comic book character will be portrayed on screen.

Furthermore, Jensen Ackles signed the contract to join The Boys Season 3 as Soldier Boy. Eric Kripke who previously worked with Jensen Ackles on Supernatural is quite excited about his joining.
"As Soldier Boy, the very first superhero, he'll bring so much humor, pathos, and danger to the role. I can't wait to be on set with him again, and bring a bit of Supernatural to The Boys," said the showrunner.
Jensen Ackles told the Soldier Boy fought in World War II and became "the first super celebrity, and a mainstay of American culture for decades."
The Boys follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat super-powered individuals who abuse their abilities. Eric Kripke already hinted that The Boys is officially doing "Herogasm." He wrote on his Reddit that The Boys Season 3 would come with a hardcore porn story.
He is concerned about The Boys Season 3 plots and he said, "It has become really fun and breezy to write again," he said. "That worries me. It's feeling enjoyable.”
"I should be in intense, deep introspection for this. I know, obviously, that every season of a television show gets a little bit harder because all of your original best instincts to explore have been explored. So, you have to start going to some of the areas that it wouldn't at first have occurred you to go to in those stories, and those are always a little trickier to make feel as big and as fascinating as the stuff you hit early on. So, it's challenging."

Currently, Amazon’s The Boys Season 3 is under production. The Boys Season 1 and The Boys Season 2 were premiered in July 2019 and September 2020 respectively. Therefore, it is expected from the previous record that The Boys Season 3 might release at the end of 2021. Stay tuned!
