Army's Academic Leap: Sikh Light Infantry's Educational Alliance with CSJM University

In a groundbreaking move to enhance military training and academic growth, the Sikh Light Infantry Regiment Training Centre in Fatehgarh has collaborated with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj (CSJM) University, Kanpur, by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This partnership, under the university's D-CODE initiative, aims to provide comprehensive educational and technical training opportunities to Army personnel, including Agniveers and their families. The MoU focuses on emerging technologies, offering courses in subjects such as robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity.
Brigadier Maneesh Kumar Jain emphasized the initiative's role in skill development, while Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak from CSJM University highlighted its importance for nation-building. This collaboration, marked by the registration of 600 participants, is set to offer degrees and certificates, aligning military service with continuous educational progress.
