This Saturday, Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will inaugurate a crucial programme that falls under the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM-VIKAS) initiative. The programme aims to provide skill training and educational support to bolster socio-economic conditions.
The venture will focus on training 31,600 candidates, segregating 29,600 for industry-aligned skill courses and 2,000 for educational enhancements. The implementation is spearheaded by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), which aims to fill the gaps in emerging job markets, including fields like AI Data Science and Solar PV Installation.
This initiative underscores the government's continued effort to empower minority communities by providing necessary tools for economic independence. Ensuring employment post-training, the programme not only promises a stipend but also stands as a testament to DSGMC's commitment to uplifting the community through education and skill development.
