The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is set to roll out a visionary education program titled 'Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi' for the 2025 academic session. This ambitious initiative seeks to foster holistic development among its 28,000 students across 45 schools by integrating technological advancements and cultural heritage into the curriculum.
Under the leadership of Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal, the program introduces innovative approaches such as AI workshops for senior students and a traditional learning curriculum for younger ones. These efforts aim to instill values while equipping students with modern skills, blending yoga and meditation with cutting-edge AI education to nurture discipline and technical knowledge.
Additionally, NDMC plans to enhance experiential learning by collaborating with cultural and scientific institutions and setting up learning hubs with private schools. This integrated model also includes the launch of a Management Information System (MIS) for academic tracking and comprehensive career guidance programs, building a robust foundation for the students' future.
