Vandalism Strikes RSS-Affiliated School in Madhya Pradesh

A school linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh, was vandalized. Miscreants destroyed ceiling fans and a portrait of APJ Abdul Kalam, and attempted arson on school registers. The police have initiated an investigation under relevant sections against unidentified individuals.

On Monday night, a school operated by an RSS-affiliated organization in Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh, fell victim to vandalism, according to police reports on Tuesday. The incident occurred when a group forced entry into Saraswati Shishu Mandir, a school managed by Vidya Bharati, and caused significant property damage.

Among the destruction was a portrait of former President APJ Abdul Kalam and several ceiling fans. The vandals also tried to burn attendance registers, prompting local law enforcement to launch an investigation.

Authorities have registered a case under sections 62 and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, targeting unknown perpetrators. State minister Vishvas Sarang has vowed strict action, assuring that those responsible will face the full weight of the law.
